| Decree[d] that the said town of Geneva be incorporated into ... "The Borough of Geneva"; that the boundaries thereof shall be as follows, viz: Beginning at the n.e. corner thereof at the crossing of the channel of Conneaut Marsh by the Meadville road in the center of said channel and road; thence s. 7° w. 320 perches to the center of the Cochranton road and of the Georgetown [now Sheakleyville] road where it comes into the Cochranton road aforesaid; thence by the middle of said Georgetown road s. 2° and 15' w. 51.4 perches; thence n. 88° w. 254 perches to a post; thence n. 2° e. 46 perches to the center of the public road; thence along the middle of said road n. 40° e. 82.5 perches to the center of the Evansburg road; thence by the middle of said road s. 88° e. 8 perches to the center of the road leading from said Evansburg road to the Meadville Road, thence by the middle of said road n. 80° e. 44 perches; thence by middle of same n. 24° e. 25 perches; thence by middle of same n. 8° w. 14 perches; thence by middle of same n. 8° e. 39 perches; thence by middle of same n. 63° e. 35.7 perches; thence n. 2° e. 80 perches; thence s. 88° e. 14 perches; thence n. 11° e. 125 perches to the center of the aforesaid channel of Conneaut Marsh; thence by the middle of said channel to the place of beginning. |
