ca. March 1829 Created from the northeastern part of Bloomfield Twp. 1
Boundaries:  Beginning on the n. e. corner of [Bloomfield Twp.]; thence running s. w. and south along said township to the s. w. corner of lot no. 1672; thence east to the n. e. [sic; s.e.] corner of lot no. 1624; thence south to the s. w. corner of lot no. 1621; thence east to the s. e. corner of said lot; thence north along the line of Warren county to the Erie county line; thence west along said line to the place of beginning.
17 Aug. 1855 Portion incorporated as the borough of Spartansburg [q.v.]
