Boundaries:  Begining at the south east corner of a tract of land surveyed in the name of Michael Emmell thence northwardly including a tract of land surveyed in name of William Bell to the north east corner of a tract of land surveyed in name of John James [Jones?] thence westwardly to the north east corner of a tract of land surveyed in name of David Fleming thence south to the place of begining [sic; description does not "close"].
28 Aug. 1810 Territory gained from Fallowfield Twp. 2
Begining at a post on the Line of fairfield township it Being the nor[th]west Corner of a tract of two hundred acres of Land whereon Theodorus Scowden now Resides, it being a part of a tract of four hundred acres warranted in name of Henry Kamerer — thence west one hundred and eighty two perches to Conyaut Creek, thence up said Creek by the several cources therof, sixty six perches to a post on the north bank of said Creek about two perches above a Bridge that is built across the Chanel of said Creek on a public Rode Laid out from Esher Williams, in followfield township to Meadville thence a southwest Deretion along said Rode on the Northwest side of the same eighty perches to an elm tree on near a small run where there is a Caben Cald Treats Caben (it is to be understod that the above eighty perches of said Rode with the bridge that is now over said Creek is to Belong within the township of followfield the township line being two perches Distant from said Rode), thence from said elm tree west By Lands setled by abriham Martin and John Sutton to the southwest corner of a tract of Land warranted in the name of Robert Johnston thence north two hundred and thirteen perches to the south west corner of Robert andrews Esqr. Land, thence west by Land held in the name of william Johnston three hundred and twenty perches to the northwest corner of the same thence North two hundred and thirteen perches to the North East Corner of a tract of Land Surveyed in the name of Daniel Miller thence west four miles to the southwest corner of a tract of Land Surveyed on a warrant in the name of Aaron Wright (the reason for making the divisin the form that it is in is that the marsh along the Conyaut Creek is for at least 12 miles — in which Distance it is not posible to pass with a horse in safety at any season — of the year, we have in fixing this Line made very little alteration from what was the understanding between the Inhabitants of the two townships before, we have Devided no tract Except the one at the bridge in the name of (John Jinings) ....
ca. March 1829 Boundaries redefined:  northern and eastern parts lost to creation of Hayfield Twp., Summerhill Twp. and Vernon Twp.; territory gained from Conneaut Twp., Fallowfield Twp., and Shenango Twp. 3
Beginning at N. W. corner of [Fallowfield Twp.]; thence east by tract returned to Henry K. Harl to the S. E. corner of a tract in the name of E. Johnson; thence northward to the N. E. corner of tract in name of Mark Hulings or Henry Escher; thence west about six miles to the N. W. corner of a tract returned to Nathan Jones; thence south to the [place of ] beginning.
7 March 1843 Northern part lost to creation of Summit Twp. [q.v.]
9 Aug. 1858 Portion incorporated as the borough of Evansburg [q.v.]
17 Feb. 1860 Southwestern part lost to West Fallowfield Twp. [q.v.]
