VALLONIA.
This borough, a suburb of Meadville, is located on the west bank of French Creek, and is one of the prettiest little towns in the county.  It was organized as a borough in 1869, and contains one Protestant Episcopal Chapel (in process of erection,) one graded school, one distillery, one grocery and drug store.  The affairs of the town are administered and executed, by a council of five, and a burgess.
