CENTREVILLE BOROUGH.

Situated in Rome township, on the forks of Big and Little Oil Creek.  It contains about four hundred inhabitants, and one church.  Centreville is an active, thriving little town, and bids fair to rival its neighboring boroughs, both in population and enterprise.  The soil in the vicinity is productive, the water clear and wholesome, and the climate healthy.  Its business is three dry goods, three groceries, one hardware, one drug, one boot and shoe store, and one harness manufactory.
